AAR Concert


So my friend told me about this concert, she was really excited about it, she said she listened to the band a lot when she was in high school. To be honest, I did not really know who they were but I have heard of some of their songs and I like them. There was quite a crowd when we got there, most of them are ETSU students, go buccaneers! The whole place lit up when AAR showed up on the stage, everyone was screaming! Some of the favorite songs were performed. People were singing all together, they were some memorable moments. Finally, everything comes to an end, the lead singer said thank you and good night, the band left the stage, but wait, it's not over yet, everybody was screaming:"encore! encore! encore!" guess what? They came back and performed another hit of theirs, the crowd got so excited!! Finally, the concert ended, this time for real... It was an awesome concert, we all enjoyed it very much!

Reece Museum

Today, I went to the Reece Museum and I invited a few of my friends to go with me as well, to be honest, I didn’t even know we have a museum on campus. It was freezing outside, we were so glad when we got inside of the museum. The museum looked so cool, I couldn’t help to take a bunch of pictures, I am not going to show all of them because like I said, I took A LOT of pictures. Anyway, here are some of the pictures I took:  It looks like my friends are having some fun there!  the native American Basketry was amazing. We all had a good time at the Reece Museum and I am so glad that i went, my friends are happy that i invited them, they said it was pretty cool to see all of it in the museum.

Tailgate Party!

Tailgate Party? what is it exactly? I had absolutely no idea what was a tailgate party. So when I received the email from school about the tailgate party this passing Saturday, first thing I did was look it up on google:"what is a tailgate party?" after gaining some knowledge about the tailgate party, I was quite excited "do you want to go to the tailgate party?" I received a text message from my friend Amanda, awesome! "sure!"I replied. The day of the event, the weather could be better, but I was still curious enough to go. I hear music as soon as I got to the parking lot, it was busy enough even though it was dreary. I ran into my other friend on my way to the honors house, he was here for the football game. He is a huge football fan by the way. when we got to the house, some people were already there, there were hotdogs, chips and tea served. Everything was great！Oh wait! it gets better, I got a free honors college T-shirt! It was a great experience!

What do I value?

What do you value? There could be lots of answers : happiness, intelligence, independence, wealth, acceptance, love, and so on. It was easy to pick 5 things you value the most, but it was really hard to get rid of three of them, for me, family and intelligence remained. Does my weekly schedule reflect my core value? I would say yes. I spend quite a bit of time going to school and study because I want to be intelligent. I also spend lots of time talking to my family, that shows I value family. I notice that on my schedule sheet that I filled out, I watch a lot of TV during weekends, my plan is to reduce that time for something more valuable.
